The Process

Each vehicle is first weighed on arrival at the Max Recycle Waste Transfer Station.

Waste is then discharged into the waste reception hall where it undergoes a visual check for any dangerous or hazardous material that may be present.

Waste segregation has two distinct components:

• Separating recyclables from the waste stream
• Screening for inappropriate waste

Recyclable materials segregated and compacted/baled wherever possible.
Non recyclable materials are compacted for onward transport prior to transferred to then appropriate disposal locations.
